Breeding Persians Since 1990
I’ve recently added a handful of pictures (below) from when I first began breeding Persians. I hope you enjoy them. Of course the photo quality isn’t the best, but that’s okay.
At the age of 20, I began breeding Silver and Golden Persians in Louisiana. I was blessed to have a couple of wonderful mentors, a lady in Florida (Trendsetter Persians) who showed her Persians on the weekends, and also another wonderful lady in Brookings, South Dakota who specialized in Silvers and Goldens. My first Persian girl was Tiffany, and my first boy was Appollo. They were the beginning of something wonderful!
A few years later, I began breeding Himalayan Persians, as well as my Silver/Goldens. The personality of the Himalayan really drew me in.
Eventually moving to the beautiful state of Arkansas, I established my current breeding program, focusing solely on Himalayan, Bi-Colors, and White Persians…maintaining healthy and happy cats, and meeting the CFA Persian breed standards. We never stop learning new things about our cats. They are very much part of our family. My children and I care very deeply that each and every kitten goes to the best homes possible.
At Mount Vista Persians our focus is on breeding for health, temperament, and the betterment of the breed. Our goal is providing amazing people with new family members that will bring lots of love, joy, and laughter to their homes for years to come. If you are chosen to take one of our babies home with you, consider yourself very blessed.
