Runny Eyes
It's very common for Persians to have runny eyes. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about. You will want to wipe out their eyes daily. You can use a dry wash cloth. You can also use a warm wash cloth to really get the eyes clean when it seems necessary. Sometimes I wipe eyes out with a dry paper towel. They are rough enough to get the job done.
There is an ointment called Vetericyn Ophthalmic Gel you can order from Amazon to keep on hand for treating your Persians normal watery eyes.
The stress of traveling will make your kitten's eyes run more than usual.
If you feel the eyes are running more than usual, it could be an allergy. Your vet will decide if it's just allergy or sickness.
